March Meeting Recap

We had a great meeting in March! There were quite a few new visitors and we all got to know each other better through the "what is our mission?" activity planned for us by April.  Tulsa MQG member, Becky gave a superb presentation about Negative Space in modern quilting. Her presentation was interesting and she shared several quilt photos from QuiltCon. It was great to see so many examples of creative ways to use negative space. 

Our Block of the Month “Good with the Bad” focuses on negative space. These blocks are due at the April meeting and will be used in future donation quilts.  For more information on our local charity click on the "donation quilts" tab at the top of the page.

PAST PRESIDENT, JULIE'S QUILTY SURPRISE

We celebrated (and surprised) our Past President, Julie, with a scrappy quilt made by guild members and put together by Patti.  Looks like she loves the quilt and she was surprised!
